Material properties can be improved by heat treatment.
For example, a material can get more workable, more durable and stronger.
But there are drawbacks. We can help you to make the right material
selection and heat treatment that fits.
We are equipped with two programmable ovens so many
heat treatments can be performed. This allows us to achieve
short delivery times for small series of products.
Our capabilities:
- Soft annealing
- Hardening and tempering
- With or without shielding gas
- Carbonation
Tool steels are hardenable to about 64HRC and is therefore widely used.
Deformation occurs during hardening, so we must operate carefully.
After hardening often an operation such as round or flat grinding takes place.
